We’re dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups, children ages birth-5th grade learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their lives every week.

Clear Lake Baptist Church is dedicated to an Orange Kids Ministry. We believe the church (yellow) and the home (red) are both important to a childs spiritual development. Orange is what happens when the church and the home come together to create a powerful spiritual growth experience in the life of children. Through weekly email updates, planning family nights, and equipping parents to lead in the home, we hope to create Orange Kids who love Jesus and are equipped to follow Him for a lifetime.

What is Kids Worship?
Kids Worship is our Kids Ministry programming that happens during the 10:00 am Worship Service. Babies and Toddlers spend time engaging with caring and friendly volunteers. Preschool through 5th grade spend time singing, dancing, playing games, and learning virtue-based Bible curriculum.
What are Kids Groups?
Kids Groups is our small group time for children during the 11:00 am Small Groups hour. After Kids Worship, children ages K-5th are divided by grade and taught from The Gospel Project curriculum. The Gospel Project is a weekly Bible study that helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ.
How do I check in?
Babies through preschool aged children are checked in and dropped off in their classrooms before the service begins, with check in beginning at 9:45.
K-5th aged children are checked in before the service begins, with check in beginning at 9:45. Elementary aged children remain with their parents in the sanctuary during the first half of our worship service and are dismissed to Kids Worship before the sermon begins. Trained volunteers will then lead the children to the Kids Worship room where they will remain for the duration of the sermon.

How do I pick up my children?
Babies through preschool aged children can be picked up immediately after the Worship Service from the same classroom in which they were dropped off.
K-5th aged children can be picked up from our Kids Building immediately after the sermon or after Small Groups.
Safety
Safety is a top priority for our Kids Ministry. To help keep children safe we have dedicated security during Kids Worship, teacher training, protocols and background checks, as well as a secure check-in process.
